Saturday 27th January saw the B Team hold their home ECRHA home tournament at Lynnsport.
This is a very young and less experienced team who gave their all once again and though they remain at the bottom of the league with no wins from their seven matches, they reached another milestone in their season. With Lacey Vincent playing well between the posts, the team had more confidence in their attacking play. Showing great improvement in their passing and moving, they created some good goal scoring opportunities and two of these were finished by Janis Dukats. These two goals raised great cheers from the crowd and put some big smiles on the players’ faces.
Credit must go to the whole team for the way they held their heads high for the whole tournament and especially in their third match, when they had a very closely fought match with ECU Gold.
